The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to engage in charitable and educational activities within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This corporation is organized to connect people with primarily rescued horses for the purpose of helping the horses recover and find their best purpose, with the by-product of educating and improving the quality of life of those interacting with the horses. These people will gain countless benefits from this interaction with the horses. Programs include opportunities for equine-assisted growth and learning for the community, such as 4-H, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and local recreation programs; miniature horses for visitation/therapy; and horse rescue.
We have rescued, rehabilitated and placed several horses that were abused, neglected, or headed for slaughter. These horses are now thriving thanks to the dedication of CVMR’s members and friends.
We would love to start working with the local YMCA and other organizations to enrich their summer and winter camps by offering our services. The goal is to offer these services using rescued horses, which we rehabilitate and train. We have sweet, loving miniature horses available for horse therapy.
Over the years CVMR has offered free equestrian classes and education for 4-H participants at our ranch. Children ages 9 to 18 learn to ride, care for horses, raise money for local non-profits, and friend in projects that seek to improve the local community.
