The Coachella Valley Horse Rescue’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or slated for slaughter and to provide them with a new lease on life and a chance for placement with a loving family.
We harness the healing power of our program horses to provide equine-assisted programs for veterans and children in the Coachella Valley.

Developed at CVHR, Horsinalitiesâ„¢ teaches adults and children about different horse personalities, while promoting empowerment, leadership, and positive social skills. Our youth program also addresses anti-bullying, helping kids build empathy and confidence.
